Angela grew up in Vancouver, BC running through the mountains, snowboarding and eventually finding a deep passion for surfing.  As a driven athlete, her whole "adult life" left her feeling unfulfilled, competitive and eventually exhausted and sick.  Through a conscious effort to heal, Angela started what is now a life-long journey in yoga and meditation. She spent most of her 20’s surfing and practicing yoga all over the world in places including: Costa Rica, Hawaii, Australia, South Africa, France, Spain and Tofino, BC. She took several yoga workshops and did her level 1 Baron Baptiste Yoga Training in 2010.

During that time of deep study, Angela started what would end up being a 13 year career at lululemon. She began working in stores in Vancouver and then re-located to the US as a leader with focus on opening new markets. Throughout her 10 years in the US, she continued to move roles at lululemon and eventually became an Area Director in NYC leading teams and running a major part of the US business.

When Angela discovered The Class by Taryn Toomey in 2013, she embarked on a passionate 3 year journey of physical, mental and spiritual awakening. The Class was the only place that Angela felt complete and total self-acceptance, love and peace with herself. After deciding to move back to Vancouver, she was devastated at the thought of leaving The Class community and her practice behind. Thus, a new journey began of learning to teach the method in order to bring what she loved so much with her to her community at home.

Angela’s classes are athletic, dynamic and designed to both challenge and support her students.  Her classes will leave you feeling strong and nourished. Angela’s commitment to developing herself translates to the work with her students. She leads from the beautiful place of constant learning, understanding and compassion.
